Self Indulgence

Small creature.
Tiny bundle of chaos that purrs.
A treadling, nuzzling lapful of fur.
With claws.

A velvet, meowing face.
Idiocy. On a grand scale.
A demanding presence.
Smells.

And fluids.
Unfortunately.

A constant, uncaring companion.
Who will tolerate love.
And belly nuzzles.

A curious burrowing.
A suddenly proud stance.
A quiet, hunting beauty.
A walking grace.

The cat.

...

Velvet

...

Semper superne nitens,

C

everything about cats that makes me not a cat person is right there but also everything that makes me understand how other people can be cat people comes across.
